Monitoring and Evaluation
Biomarkers to Monitor
TABLE #8, Monitoring Nutritional Management of PKU recommends the significant biomarkers to monitor in individuals with PKU, as well as the frequency of monitoring. The recommendations recognize that variation in practice exists based on clinical judgment and logistical concerns, including access to laboratories and insurance coverage.
